One Gem of a Jewelry Sale

Ten Thousand Villages is a great spot for unique jewelry and home goods. Founded in 1946, Ten Thousand Villages is one of the world’s largest fair trade organizations. The company offers handmade personal accessories, home décor, jewelry, and other goods representing the diverse cultures of Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East.

From now until May 9, Ten Thousand Villages is holding its One Gem of a Jewelry Sale where shoppers can expect to get 25 percent off selected merchandise. Here are some of my favorite picks from the sale.

Stacked Brass Necklace, from Bombolulu Workshop in Kenya, $24

Capiz Circles Necklace, from Saffy Handicrafts in the Philippines, $18

Pounded Brass Earrings, from Bombolulu Workshops, $16

Ceramic Disk Necklace, from Jacaranda Workshop in Kenya, $38

Double Hoop Brass Earrings, from Bombolulu Workshops in Kenya, $18
